​For the excellent technical treatment of Nelson Freire's historic archive recordings from the 1966 and 1986, which were made accessible to the public for the first time, our August release Nelson Freire plays Saint-Saëns, Grieg and Liszt was awarded in the current September issue of Steroplay as REMASTER OF THE MONTH.

Jul 27, 2017 | Release ECHO Klassik 2017 for Quartetto di Cremona

​​The Quartetto di Cremona is one of the winners of the ECHO Klassik. The last but one album of the complete edition of Beethoven's string quartets won in the category Chamber Music Recording (19th century music / String Player). The award ceremony will take place on October 29th 2017 in the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. The gala will be broadcast on television the same evening from 10:00 PM on by the ZDF (German Public TV).

The third audite album of the Duo Pietsch - Eisinger also seems to be a complete success. After the first two productions (Grieg and Prokofiev) were nominated for the International Classical Music Award (ICMA) in addition to numerous other accolades of renowned trade magazines, the recently released third CD with works for violin and piano by Szymanowski and Franck also received the coveted SUPERSONIC award from Pizzicato.
We are very pleased about this positive response from expert music critics!

After the first five parts of the series "The RIAS Amadeus Quartet recordings" have already received high ratings from renowned music magazines and an international expert jury by getting ICMA nominations and among others awards such as SUPERSONIC or DIAPASON D'OR, also the sixth and last part of this series integrates into this successful series.
In the current July issue of the French magazine Diapason, The RIAS Amadeus Quartet Haydn Recordings was awarded with a Diapason d'Or.

Pianist Detlev Eisinger received the Pro Musica Viva Prize of the Maria Strecker-Daelen Foundation. The award, which is endowed with prize money of 10,000 Euros, was given to him by Dr. Peter Hanser-Strecker, Managing Director of the Schott Music Publishing House, as part of a concert of the Maifestspiele in the Hessian State Theater in Wiesbaden for the "promotion of music, music education and the improvement of the importance of music in our lives".
We sincerely congratulate to this special award!
