The piano duo Takahashi | Lehmann recently returned from its nearly three-week tour in Japan. The concert program included works by Mozart, Schubert, Brahms, Liszt, Mendelssohn, Ravel and Debussy. In addition, the two musicians also gave CD presentation concerts for some of the most important Japanese record and piano stores. Here they presented repertoire from their latest audite album Transcriptions and beyond; particularly Igor Stravinsky's "Le Sacre" and Conlon Nancarrow's "Sonatina" received great applause.

After several awards like the Siemens Musikpreis, Kunstpreis der Stadt Basel, the Premio Abbiati, the honorary doctorate of the Universität Zürich, the German record critics' award as well as the Zürcher Festspielpreis conductor, composer and oboist Heinz Holliger gets also the Swiss Grand Award for Music 2015 last week.
