Today, the finalists for the International Classical Music Awards 2018 were published. audite is nominated with 12 productions!
The Quartetto di Cremona is nominated for volumes 7 and 8 of the complete recording of Beethoven's String Quartets, the Mandelring Quartet for Brahms' String Sextets (with Roland Glassl, Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt).
Franziska Pietsch is nominated for her recording of Prokofiev's Violin Concertos (with DeutschesSymphonie-Orchester Berlin / Cristian Macelaru) and for her production with works for violin and piano by Szymanowski and Franck (with Detlev Eisinger, piano).
Marc Coppey received a nomination for his album with music for Cello and Orchestra by Dvořák (Cello Concerto & Klid) and Bloch (Schelomo), performed with the DSO Berlin and Kirill Karabits.
The Jacques Thibaud Trio is nominated for their recording of the Complete String Trios by Milhaud and Martinů, the Swiss Piano Trio for Vol. 4 of Beethoven's Complete Piano Trios.
In the Category Historical Recording, the following four audite productions were nominated:
Lucerne Festival Historic Performances, Vol. XI: Carl Schuricht
Nelson Freire plays Saint-Saëns' 2nd Piano Concerto and Works by Grieg & Liszt
The RIAS Amadeus Quartet Recordings Vol. V (Romanticism) and Vol. VI (Haydn).
The final results will be announced on January 18, 2018.The Award Ceremony and Gala concert will take place in Katowice on April 6,hosted by the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice.
