​​When audite and Fermate merge to form audite Musikproduktion, the new label boss Ludger Böckenhoff takes over Mauermann's entire catalogue and develops one of audite's two repertoire cornerstones on the basis of the successful Mahler cycle: from then on, the label is primarily dedicated to the release of historical archive recordings through close cooperation with radio stations, as well as the release of new discoveries or complete editions.
