​The 13 CD-Box Sergiu Celibidache: The Berlin recordings with historical recordings from 1945-1957 of this legendary conductor was decorated in the current issue of french trade magazine Diapason with a Diapason d'Or.
Above all the edition also won the International Classical Music Award (ICMA) in the category historical recordings.
The Award Ceremony and Gala concert will take place on April 12th during the Beethoven Festival in Warsaw, the participating orchestra will be the Polish Iuventus Orchestra conducted by José Maria Florêncio.

​In memory of Claudio Abbado, who died on 20 January 2014 and who was closely associated with LUCERNE FESTIVAL for nearly five decades, audite and LUCERNE FESTIVAL are issuing three previously unreleased live recordings, approved by the conductor himself. Release date is March 14th. You can find a preview in the accompanying video.

For the ninth time the local newspapers Neue Westfälische, Haller Kreisblatt and Lippische Landes-Zeitung honoured their selected stars of the year for special cultural activities.

From the 52 protagonists who were decorated in 2013 with a star of the week, twelve winners - including label boss Ludger Böckenhoff - had been selected as stars of the year. The award ceremony takes place on 24th of February in Bielefeld.

​In the first quarter of 2014 audite won a German Critics' Award ("Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik"). This time the jury awarded the price to the first volume of our new series R. Schumann: Complete Symphonic Works with WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln under the direction of Heinz Holliger.

​Swiss Piano Trio's pianist Martin Lucas Staub will be guest in Parlando on Swiss Radio SRF2. The program will present the ensemble's current CD release with piano trios by Eduard Franck in detail. Two of the recorded works are premier recordings. On Sunday, February 9th you can hear the full program from 16:00 to 18:00 PM, on Friday, February 14th you can listen to the discussion again from 15:00 to 16:00 PM again.

​In January, Mandelring's cellist Bernhard Schmidt will be guest in two radio programs. Both are devoted to the string quartets of Dmitri Shostakovich. Over four years the Mandelring Quartett recorded a highly praised complete edition of these works for audite. On Sunday, January 19th, from 15:05 to 17:00 PM Jürgen Liebing will discuss with Bernhard Schmidt "Music as secret message - the string quartets of Dmitri Shostakovich" on Deutschlandradio Kultur. On Wednesday, January 22nd, in the program "Werkgespräch" Burkhard Egdorf and Bernhard Schmidt will introduce  Shostakovich's String Quartet No. 3 extensively from 20.03 to 22.00 PM on SWR 2.
