The audite production "Pas de deux" with the piano duo Mona & Rica Bard was chosen CD of the week from December 31st to January 6th by the German radio station RBB Kulturradio.

Excellent for comparison with the Beethoven Quartets of the Quartetto di Cremona, released only a short time earlier, is a 7 CD box set of historical recordings by the Amadeus Quartet, which recorded almost all of these quartets on the RIAS in the years 1950-1967.
audite starts a fruitful cooperation with LUCERNE FESTIVAL and in the next 10 years alone almost 20 productions with archive recordings from Swiss Radio and Television (SRF) will be released under the series title "Historic Performances".
With the six-CD series Schumann: Complete Symphonic Works, audite is launching another complete recording with the WDR Symphony Orchestra alongside the Grieg series. This time with Schumann expert Heinz Holliger as conductor.

On December 9th the Sunday Times published their "Records of the Year". The audite production The RIAS Second Viennese School Project made it onto the list to 3rd place in the catagory "Modern composers".
On December 7 in 1962 Kirsten Flagstad died in Oslo at the age of 67. On this occasion we would like to draw your attention to our release Kirsten Flagstad sings Wagner & Strauss. The Norwegian singer was thought to be one of the best Wagner interpreters ever. Also on the award-winning audite release she sings Wagner Lieder, in addition three of the Vier Letzte Lieder by Richard Strauss and the monologue from Elektra.
