On December 9th the Sunday Times published their "Records of the Year". The audite production The RIAS Second Viennese School Project made it onto the list to 3rd place in the catagory "Modern composers".
On December 7 in 1962 Kirsten Flagstad died in Oslo at the age of 67. On this occasion we would like to draw your attention to our release Kirsten Flagstad sings Wagner & Strauss. The Norwegian singer was thought to be one of the best Wagner interpreters ever. Also on the award-winning audite release she sings Wagner Lieder, in addition three of the Vier Letzte Lieder by Richard Strauss and the monologue from Elektra.
On November 24th and 25th the Mandelring Quartett performed presented all 15 Shostakovich string quartets as a complete cycle in the Radial-System V in Berlin. The performances were recieved with great interest as the packed hall and the enthusiastic audience prove.
Altogether nine audite productions were nominated for the International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) 2013, including historical releases with Karl Ristenpart, Barry McDaniel and Otto Klemperer as well as a release of the 2nd Viennese School and also some new releases with the Mandelring Quartet, Arthur Campbell, Judith Ingolfsson, Cappella Murensis and the Swiss Piano Trio.
Organized by Mannheimer Gesellschaft für Neue Musik the Mandelring Quartet presented recently the whole string quartets by Dmitri Shostakovich in a cycle of five concerts. They convinced the Mannheimer audience especially with their incomparable homogeneity.

The Swiss Piano Trio finished their Canada tour on 11th of August with a convincing performance at Vancouver MusicFest. In Christ Church Cathedral they played works by Mozart and Brahms as well as by the Swiss composers Rudolf Kelterborn and Paul Juon.

On October 23rd audite invited the team to an all-day seminar devoted to the manifold options of the new audite website. The seminar found excellent resonance among the permanent staff.

Even two audite productions receive a Supersonic in the October issue of pizzicato: The Mandelring Quartett is recognized for "Mendelssohn - The Complete Chamber Music for Strings Vol. I", the second award goes to the double CD with Lied recordings with the American baritone Barry McDaniel.
