​audite's January release with the Staatskapelle Weimar under the baton of Kirill Karabits Franz Liszt: Künstlerfestzug - Tasso - Dante Symphony continues Sardanapalo's great series of successes and has received four important awards in the past two weeks: the renowned journals Audio and Fono Forum awarded the production as KLANG TIPP and STERN DES MONATS. In addition, the CD received a DIAPASON D'OR from the French magazine Diapason and a LA CLEF from ResMusica.

After numerous awards and the nomination for the International Classical Music Awards 2020 (ICMA) the production Edith Mathis: Selected Lieder  from the LUCERNE FESTIVAL series has now prevailed in the pre-selection of 280 new CD releases and received the quarterly German Record Critics' Award in the category "Classical Lied and Vocal Recital".

​153 jurors from 32 specialist juries have chosen 280 productions (CDs, DVDs and audio books) from new releases of the last quarter and nominated them for the Quarterly Critics' Choice ("Bestenliste") 1/2020 of the German Record Critics' Award (PdSK), which will be issued on February 15th.

Among these are also three audite productions:

Johann Bernhard Bach: Orchestral Suites was nominated in the category Early Music, String Trios by Weinberg - Penderecki - Schnittke was chosen in the category chamber music and in the category historical recording Edith Mathis sings Mozart, Bartók, Brahms, Schumann and Strauss: Selected Lieder.

​Due to the outbreak of the corona pandemic and the associated restrictions, many recording projects have to be cancelled and the repertoire re-planned. In the course of this, there are also unusual productions: The Mandelring Quartet fulfils a heart's desire and records favourite pieces, individual movements and encores for the album "Pennies from Heaven", which stylistically cannot be fitted into a usual programme.

A total of 9 audite productions was nominated for the International Classical Music Awards 2020. Among them new releases with Kirill Karabits and the Staatskapelle Weimar, (Joyce El-Khoury /Airam Hernandez / Oleksandr Pushniak), Franziska Pietsch / Josu de Solaun, Andrea Lucchesini, Thüringer Bach Collegium and Trio Lirico. In the field of historical releases productions from the LUCERNE FESTIVAL series (Edith Mathis / Karl Engel) and from the RIAS archive (Moshe Atzmon, Jorge Bolet Vol. III) were nominated.
