​The recordings Edith Mathis sings [...]: Selected Lieder  and Dvořák & Tchaikovsky: Serenades were nominated for this year's PdSK Annual Awards and included in the longlist!
Once a year, the Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik ('German Record Critics' Awards') awards annual prizes from various musical genres for the best productions of the past year, which are selected by a jury-spanning committee. The ten annual prizes are awarded to the winners in the context of public concert appearances or literature readings (in the field of audio books) in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
We are very happy that two audite productions made it onto the longlist!

Aug 24, 2020 | Sabine Wiedemann | News Pietsch: Release Concert "Fantasque" with new pianist

Due to the worsening Corona situation, unfortunately Josu De Solaun will be unable to travel from Spain to Berlin - what a pity! But the release concert will take place, now with pianist Maki Hayashida who performs with Franziska Pietsch also in other concerts.
Due to this change, program has been slightly altered; instead of Poulenc's Violin Sonata the artists will present one of C. Franck's Violin Sonatas. Here the updated program overview:

Debussy: Sonate pour violon et piano - l Allegro vivo - ll Intermède - lll Finale
Ravel: Sonate pour violon et piano - l Allegretto - ll Blues - lll Perpetuum mobile
C. Franck: Sonate pour violon et piano - l Allegretto ben Moderato - ll Allegro -

​Also in July, audite artists celebrate their anniversaries:
July 7th is Gustav Mahler's 160th birthday, on July 21st, Isaac Stern would turn 100 years, and July 28th sees the 270th anniversary of J.S. Bach's death. Enough reason to point out the audite productions of the jubilees:

In June, two audite-composers celebrate anniversaries:
June 2nd is the 270th anniversary of Valentin Rathgeber's death, June 8th is Robert Schumann's 210th birthday. Although these are not really round commemoration days, we would like to point out the audite productions of the jubilees on this occasion:

152 jurors from 32 specialist juries have chosen 234 productions (CDs, DVDs and audio books) from new releases of the last quarter and nominated them for the Quarterly Critics' Choice ("Bestenliste") 2/2020 of the German Record Critics' Award (PdSK), which will be issued on May 15th.


Among these is also an audite production: Paul Tortelier: RIAS Recordings was nominated in the category „Historical Recordings".

We are very happy about this appreciation!

​audite's January release with the Staatskapelle Weimar under the baton of Kirill Karabits Franz Liszt: Künstlerfestzug - Tasso - Dante Symphony continues Sardanapalo's great series of successes and has received four important awards in the past two weeks: the renowned journals Audio and Fono Forum awarded the production as KLANG TIPP and STERN DES MONATS. In addition, the CD received a DIAPASON D'OR from the French magazine Diapason and a LA CLEF from ResMusica.

We are very happy about this appreciation of our production!
