​The quarterly and annual awards of the German Record Critics' Award (PdSK) are sought-after prizes in the German music scene. The winners of the quarterly awards are included in the Quarterly Critics' Choice ("Bestenliste") of the German Record Critics' Award. The lists recommend new releases which merit special attention for the quality of interpretation and for their value to the repertoire. These lists provide a candid picture of new releases which, in the jury's opinion, are of outstanding importance when judged on purely artistic and audiophile grounds.

​The International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) are the successors of the MIDEM Classical Awards respectively the Cannes Classical Awards. The ICMA jury consists of professional music critics of important magazines, online services and radio stations:

Andante (Turkey), Crescendo (Belgium), Das Orchester (Germany), Deutsche Welle (Germany), Gewandhaus Radio (Germany), KULMAG (Liechtenstein), Musica (Italy), Musik & Theater (Switzerland), Opera (UK), Papageno (Hungary), Pizzicato (Luxembourg), Radio 100,7 (Luxembourg), radio klassik Stephansdom (Austria), Radio România Muzical (Romania), Resmusica.com (France), Rondo Classic (Finland), Scherzo (Spain), Tygodnik Powszechny (Poland) and Unison (Croatia).

​The presentation took place as part of a well-attended press conference moderated by musicologist Domagoj Marić, who also contributed the booklet essay for the production. Alongside the conductor Ivan Repušić, pianist Martina Filjak, Staatskapelle Weimar's General Director Valentin Schwarz, and label head Ludger Böckenhoff offered insights into the making of the recording and their personal engagement with the composer's work.

The focus was on the artistic exploration of Pejačević's symphonic oeuvre, which is attracting increasing international attention and whose significance within music history is being reassessed today.
