audite's historic archive releases enjoy an excellent reputation worldwide. A current review in the March issue of the German journal Kulturspiegel shows, that the latest historical release Portrait Johanna Martzy is no exception. The competent critic dignifies the unprecedented remastering of label boss Ludger Böckenhoff: "Mit der akustischen Ehrenrettung dieser großen ungarischen Geigerin ist Remastering-Experte Ludger Böckenhoff wieder mal eine kleine Großtat gelungen: So lupenrein [...] das schöne Dokument anmutiger Perfektion."

​Georgian pianist Elisso Bolkvadze was named UNESCO Arist for Peace. The Award Ceremony is taking place today in Paris. In August, audite and Elisso Bolkvadze will present her first release on this label with Schubert Impromptus Op. 90 and Prokofiev Sonata No.2, Op.14. The next audite recording project will continue the series with Prokofiev sonatas, probably again in combination with sonatas from a second composer.

Elisso Bolkvadze is winner of numerous international competions. In additiona to her international concert career she runs her own music festival Batumi Music Fest and supports talented young Georgian pianists through her foundation Lyra.

​At the end of the year ​the Swiss Piano Trio has a prestigious concert in its calendar: The three musicians will perform as a soloist ensemble in the virtuoso Triple Concerto "Episodes Concertantes" op. 45 by Swiss-Russian composer Paul Juon together with the Russian National Orchestra in the Main Hall of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow. This concerto is the only Triple Concerto of the romantic period. You may call this music a fortunate combination of a piano concerto by Rachmaninov and the double concerto by Brahms.
